Design Resource Definition drilling programs to locate additional resources using RC and diamond drills. Assist Senior Resource Geologist with JORC compliant resource/reserve reporting. Projects include geological interpretations, ore body modeling, reconciliations and model evaluation. Working with Grade Control, Resource Definition and Exploration Geology groups enables exposure to all facets of Geology- don’t get stuck doing the “same old.” Datamine and Vulcan software exp preferred, however training is provided if you are a user of another software.

Senior Geologist role linking resource development all the way to ore delivery including developing grade control procedures and processes as well as resource evaluation programs and mine planning. Support from a well known Chief Geologist to manage a driven Mine Geology team structured around production. After settling into this role there is the option of either Chief role on a smaller site or a Perth based role.
Major miner with individualized training including Frontline Management or Masters of Science or MBA as well as a yearly budget to attend industry conferences and seminars. Roster is FIFO 8/6 from Perth.

You will need at least three years postgraduate coal experience and a genuine desire to rise through the ranks quickly.
